JARRAH

“That tree is me and I am that tree.”

JARRAH is a short film told by Noongar Elder Noel Nannup, connecting us all through trees.

Jarrah spreads throughout Noongar Country, from the streets of our city, through towering trees in the forests of the hills, all the way to the south coast. Tree speaking to tree, and to us.

Hand-drawn in charcoal and graphite across hundreds of frames, JARRAH draws out connection and care for these magic trees.
